Welcome to the webpage of the General Nathanael Greene Chapter. We were founded in 2005 and are located in Atlanta, Georgia. We are a chapter of the Sons of the Revolution in the State of Georgia that is headquartered in Savannah, Georgia.
Our Chapter is named to honor General Nathanael Greene, Commander of the Southern Department of the American Continental Army. General Greene was tasked to block General Cornwallis and the British Army plan to subdue the South. General Greene was instrumental in causing General Cornwallis and his army to abandon the South and be trapped at Yorktown. General Cornwallis was defeated at Yorktown and, for all practical purposes, the United States won the Revolutionary War at that battle.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about our Chapter, please contact any of our officers (see Officers below). Thank you for visiting.
